This is a comprehensive collection of pathology images consisting of gross and micrscopic images arranged according to system.

Description of Specimen Codes

Each specimen has a 2 letter code followed by a number ( e.g. UR-01).

The first letter denotes the organ system the specimen is from.

The second letter denotes the disease group shown in the specimen:

C = Congenital/Developmental Defects
N = Neoplastic Disorders (Benign/Malignant)
O = Other/Unclassified
R = Reactive/Inflammation/Injury/Degenerative

The number refers to the individual specimen.

Example: ER-01

E = Urinary System
R = Reactive/Inflammation/Injury/Degeneration
01 = Specimen Number
